On October 16, representatives from Université du Québec, including Sylvain St-Amand, director of international relations’ department of Université du Québec and Simon Collin, director of the French teaching and research office of education college, visited our college. The two sides have conducted preliminary exchanges and discussions on expanding cooperation in joint training of undergraduate and postgraduate students, teacher training and visiting and learning exchanges.

At the meeting, dean Professor Tao welcomed Sylvain St-Amand's visit, and introduced to the guests the school’s history, school facilities, discipline construction, school achievements and other basic information, as well as the current development of relevant cooperation projects of the school. He pointed out that as the front position of international school running, the college attaches great importance to promoting cooperation with foreign universities, actively introducing foreign high-quality education teaching resources, and improving the level of international school running. He would like to take the opportunity of this meeting to establish ties and promote closer cooperation in the future for win-win cooperation to promote the common development of the two universities.
The delegation of the university of Quebec thanked the college for its reception and arrangements. Sylvain St - Amand widely appreciated the long history and achievements of Overseas Education College and he is very interested in International College scale and achievements. Besides, he had an in-depth exchange with the teachers responsible for the cooperation of our school in setting up the Chinese undergraduate program in Canada and the joint implementation of the 2+2 undergraduate program, 1+1MBA/CPA postgraduate program. Simon Collin introduced the idea of education college of the university of Quebec and the idea of cooperating with our college to carry out the training program for French teachers.
