In the morning of October 19, the foundation to master program for academic year 2016/17 was examined by the external qualifications authority. The examination was divided into two parts: onsite and by mail. Courses examined onsite include business communication techniques, personal financial service and old-age pension, while the courses mailed for examination include hotel management and hospitality industry. Courses examined onsite have all passed.

      The external review

Vice Dean Mr. Lv Zixuan, coordinator Chen Jianru, lecturer Yang Shuai and all staff from professional teaching and researching team met with the examiners Ms.Iverene Bromfield and Mr. John McCallum. Vice Dean Mr. Lv introduced the program and the, and hoped the examiners would make suggestions for the program.

External review is an examination regarding our teaching facilities, resource management, teachers’ qualifications and student management. The result will affect the score assessment of the students in the program. When we were informed about the examination, all teachers started to carefully prepare for it.

In the feedback meeting, the examiner Ms. Bromfield had a high opinion of our program and courses. She was also impressed by the students she spoke with. Apart from the appraisal for our high teaching method, Mr. McCallum also gave us some suggestions to further improve our teaching quality. Teachers who attended the meeting said it was a fulfilling training from which they had learned a lot.
