May 17, Power of Example was held as scheduled in building No.1 Xiang'an Campus. Four outstanding graduate studentvolunteers from the Overseas Education College shared with Dublin students their difficulties and moving in a foreign countryand their dreams. They used their personal experience of going abroad to disseminateChinese language teaching and cultureto providevaluable experience for Dublin students. The will and wisdom reflected by each of them set good examples for those students.

At first,Hu Yufang, who once taught at the Confucius Institute ofVictoria University in New Zealand, shared her life experience in New Zealand, so that while the studentsenjoyed the beautiful scenery and quiet life in New Zealand, they also recognized the importance of good connections. On this basis, they are able to make their life abroad more colorful.
It was followed byWu Jianyi, who taught atConfucius Institute of Prince Songkla University at Phuket, Thailand. He told the students how to arrange your work and life in a foreign country and reminded students not to let their student life too monotonous; and they should participate in sports, which can also enrich school life.

However, Chen Wendi, who just returned from the Confucius Institute of Saint Mary's University in Canada, believes thatwhat mattersis to dare to express yourself, the courage to ask for help, and to communicate with people sincerely. Only in this way, can one deal with difficulties encountered easily and know a group of sincere and considerate friends.
Had taught at the Confucius Institute at Prince Songkla University, Thailand, Xu Huijiang shared his taste in Thailand customs and toured scenic spots, which made the students quite satisfied. He suggested that students after leaving the country should travel more to develop an international perspective and enrich life experience.
Had listened to the instruction from four seniors, the students still had something more to say.They raised their hands to speak and to express their doubts on studying abroad. In this regard, four seniorsgave advice from their own experience one by one.
The sharing sessioncame to an end in a relaxedand harmonious atmosphere. The event not only set up advanced models for students in our college, but also promotedtheir understanding of Chinese culture; it also further broadened the students' horizons, so that students could have a preliminary understanding of studying abroad, thus make efforts for future study goals.
