On March 14th, Stephen Boyle, Deputy Vice Chancellor and Head of James Cook University Singapore Campus, visited Xiamen University (XMU), and Shi Dalin, Vice President of XMU met the guests.

Shi Dalin extended a warm welcome to Stephen Boyle and his delegation, and briefed them on the development of Xiamen University and its international exchanges and cooperation. He said that since the cooperation between the two universities in 2004, the two universities have established a good foundation for cooperation, and in recent years, the cooperation program carried out by International College of XMU and the James Cook University Singapore have also developed steadily, and he hopes that in the future, the two universities can deepen cooperation, jointly explore new models and methods of education, share educational resources, achieve complementary advantages, provide more students with a broader learning platform and rich international exchange opportunities, and cultivate more outstanding talents with international vision and competitiveness.
Stephen Boyle gave a brief introduction to James Cook University, saying that the visit provided a valuable exchange opportunity between the two universities, and hoped that the two universities could strengthen communication and contact in the future and jointly explore more opportunities for cooperation in other fields.
The two sides believe that the two universities have great potential for cooperation, and can carry out all-round and multi-level substantive cooperation in the future, and further strengthen the cooperation between the two universities in the fields of ocean, environment and ecology.
