Shaihang Lixin International Finance College Visited IC, XMU

On the morning of January 16, a delegation of four members led by Zhang Jianli, Secretary of the Party General Branch of Shaihang Lixin International Finance College, visited International College(IC), Xiamen University(XMU). Zhou Lei, Secretary of the Party Committee of the IC, He Haitao, Vice Dean of IC, along with the teaching secretary and student affairs secretary, participated in the discussion and exchange.


Zhou Lei extended a warm welcome to Secretary Zhang Jianli and the delegation. She emphasized that IC has always prioritized the quality development of international cooperation programs. As a key platform for cultivating international talents, the SQA program has accumulated extensive practical experience in teaching management and student development. This visit, she noted, has established a valuable platform for mutual learning and exchange, and she looks forward to enhancing the quality of the programs through in-depth discussions.


Subsequently, He Haitao, Vice Dean of IC provided a comprehensive overview of the college’s educational landscape, covering its history, academic environment, management structure, achievements in faculty development, and the progress of various cooperation programs. He particularly highlighted the distinctive educational model developed by the SQA program in IC over years of practice.


Zhang Jianli, Secretary of the Party General Branch of Shaihang Lixin International Finance College,expressed sincere gratitude for the warm reception and insightful sharing, and introduced the educational profile of the Shaihang Lixin International Finance College. She spoke highly of the remarkable achievements made by IC, XMU in the field of international talent cultivation and expressed her hope to learn from the mature experience of our SQA program. She further emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to promote the high-quality development of study abroad programs.


Finally, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on standardized teaching management and refined student administration. Both sides unanimously agreed to take this exchange as an opportunity to strengthen ongoing communication and collaboration, share high-quality educational resources, and jointly advance the SQA program and various study abroad cooperation initiatives toward higher quality and greater standardization, thereby empowering the cultivation of more high-caliber international talents.
