Profile

Lyu Dongru joined the International College of Xiamen University in 2014 as an English teacher. She gained her master degree at University of Macau, majoring in Translation Studies. Her main research interests are in the areas of news translation, media discourse and interpreting skills. She used to serve as a full-time tutor in English Writing and Communication Centre in University of Macau, possessing rich experience in tutoring students with their oral English and English writing. She has As a member of the Macau Federation of Translators and Interpreters, she has proved herself to be a qualified interpreter by providing services to various events over the years. Currently, Lyu Dongru teaches the following courses: Oral English and English Comprehensive Skills. She has been engaged in individualized education and active interaction with the students, which helps her gain great popularity among the students.
