 Profile

Shihan Lin studied for BA in Shanghai Institute of Visual Art of Fudan University for four years, pursued MA in the University of Southampton, has abundant design training both in visual arts and fashion arts.

During the period of studying time in Shanghai, Lin was an art volunteer for the Community Art of Yisui Magazine, and for the stage art project of Bett-Vewas Masterpiece in 2008 and 2011 respectively, and an participator for the exhibition of Simulation Empire in 2009. She worked as chief editor and designer for university' s news centre when she studied for BA. She visited to SCI Technology Institute of Singapore for printing design learning in 2009. She has abundant experience in Art & Design area, has strong creative expression of art and design from universities and social working.

Before joining the International College of Xiamen University, Lin worked as an editor at Shanghai branch office of SOHU Inc., took responsibility for news maintaining and updating, banners and posters designing, social activity strategy planning etc.

She was involved in the teaching of disciplines of Art & Design courses and IELTS courses during the previous teaching years in the International College of Xiamen University, She was an academic visitor in Birmingham City University during 2017, currently, she mainly teaches fashion arts courses.

1、Obtain the Intermediate Professional Qualification Certificate for Advertising Designers

4、The animation work has been selected for the short film competition of the Fifth Shanghai College Students' Television Festival.
