 Profile

I received my Bachelor of Arts (Business English) and Master of Arts (Translation Theory and Practice) from University of International Business and Economics (UIBE). During my 6-year study in UIBE, I was awarded First Prize Scholarship and Excellent Graduate. I also acted as Teaching Assistant for the MBA Program in Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. From 2005 to 2008, I worked as an interpreter and translator (internship) in International Department of China Fashion Association, responsible for programme negotiation, press conferences, bilingual host and event organising.

After graduation, I started working as an English language teacher in the International College of Xiamen University. My teacher training experiences include IBTQ (International Bilingual Teaching Qualification) workshop, SQA Teaching Development, and PCAP (Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice). I went to the UK as a member of 2011 Prime Minister Action Plan and a visiting scholar of the School of Education, University of Southampton in 2012. My main teaching experiences involve working with Queen Mary University of London (Bachelor in Business Management) and University of Southampton (Master of Education & Language Center), helping to improve students' English language proficiency in the academic and business fields.
