University of Arkansas Visited Our College for Undergraduate Project Cooperation

On the morning of April 19, Mr. Lin Qinglun (Director of the Wharton School of University of Arkansas),Professor Amy Farmer (Director of International Affaris), Dr. Anne O 'Leary Kelly (Director of Management Department)and Shi Zifeng (Project Consultant in Shanghai Office of Study Abroad Foundation International Project) visited our college to discuss cooperation in undergraduate projects.


Professor Zheng Tongtao (Dean of Overseas Education College and The International College), Huang Guanhua (Office Director), Chen Jianru (Project Secretary) and Mr. Wang Zhaoyuan (from Overseas Education College Admission Office) welcomed them and had the talk in the conference room of Oversea Education College.


This talk focused on the cooperation in undergraduate projects and both sides had a detailed discussion on the cooperation pattern. Our college proposed the cooperation pattern of “2+2”or “1+3”, which was agreed by University of Arkansas. They also added that students’ language proficiency should be considered into the project cooperation mode.


The University of Arkansas was founded in 1871 and offers more than 200 programs of study leading to bachelors, masters, doctoral, and law degrees. The university and several of its programs have been recognized on the national level. In recent years, the University of Arkansas has been recognized as a Top-Tier National University.
