The Xiang'an campus final of Xiamen University Futsal competition in 2020 kicked off in the small football field of first phase accommodation area. The battle between International College and School of Aerospace Engineering is truly exciting!

The International College players were relaxed and focused in the match. Though the players from different majors and even from different countries, they can still cooperate seamlessly and show their tacit understanding. Soon after the start half of the game, our team scored the first goal and achieved a 1:0 lead. In the second half, the International College team took the advantage of the victory. Every player with fighting spirit and full enthusiasm, scored 3 goals in 20minutes, and won the championship with an absolute advantage of 4:0.

The gradually cold weather seems to make the campus less warm, but if you come the scene of the football game, you’ll see a quite different situation: a small piece of grassland, full of cheers, surrounded by the players in purple jersey, cooperate closely in both attack and defense; the captain and alternate players off the court are closely monitoring the situation on the field and are ready to go; the spectators sit on the ground applaud with the player’s performance.  The lively scene mixed the light warm the early winter night.

The audience’s enthusiastic shouting, the waving flag of International College, the busy staff and the encouragement of the off-site coach all provide solid support and exciting encouragement for the team members who are fighting bravely in the court. Whether it is the skill accomplishment or the unity spirit, the trophy is the biggest affirmation to all the International College football team members.
