After the reception of the first freshmen on August 25th, 2016 studentshave begun their first lesson: military training. As an important component of higher education to improve the idea of national defence and to promote the spirit of patriotism, military training can also cultivate perseverance and increase willpower.

During the training, freshmen can easily be found on the sports fields or roadways in Siming campus. They are all with passion despite the scorching sun and pouring sweat. Quick march, goose step, quick march to goose step, dismissal, assembly and march past – students are already well trained. You can see the students square off in orderly rows with enthusiasm, making vigorous steps and shouting accurate slogans. Students and teachers have expressed their feelings to remember the precious first class in university.
