In the evening of April 14, the dean of Accademia di belle arti di Lecce Prof. Delli Santi Claudio and his delegation visited the International College. His visitsaimed at exchanging ideas with the leaders of the International College and getting to know the running condition and ideas of each other, having discussions on the issue of art students 1+3 program, 2+2program, short-time exchange of teachers and students and introducing high quality of educational resources.

The dean of the Overseas Education College/ the International College Prof. Tongtao Zheng hospitably received the delegation and met them at B509 of Kun Luan Building.The directors of project department, teaching and research group of art and the admission department attended the meeting. Prof. Tongtao Zheng warmly welcomed the coming the Prof. Claudio and his delegation and briefly introduced the International College. He expressed the two universities can truly share the high quality teaching resource and establish the Sino-Italy communication platform for the teachers and students.

Prof. Claudio listened very carefully of Prof. Tongtao Zheng’s introduction and introduced the current development of Accademia di belle arti di Lecce. He said, Accademia di belle arti di Lecce is a top 10 art university in Italy, it is located in the capital of Province de Lecce, south of Italy. As a national art university, Accademia di belle arti di Lecce has cultivated lots of artists since it was established in 1960. At present, Accademia di belle arti di Lecce has majors like artistic decorations, painting and calligraphy, art of sculpture, stage set art, protection of art, etc. During the meeting, Prof. Claudio asked in details about the students training model and teachers’ teaching method of the International College. He expressed the appreciation for achievements we have got in the art field and his hope of having deeper communication and cooperation with our college.

After the meeting, accompanied by Prof. Tongtao Zheng, Prof. Cluadiovisited the exhibition held by the art students in our college. Prof. Cluadio looked very carefully at students’ work and spoke highly of their basic skills of painting. He said he can feel students’ passion for art from their works, and these works are the best he has seen since he came to China.

The Prof. Claudio and his delegation went to the exhibition hall of the Overseas Education College / the International College, they visited the 60th anniversary of the Overseas Education College exhibition and the 10th anniversary of the International College exhibition. During the visit, Prof. Claudio exchanged ideas face to face with Prof. Tongtao Zheng and other art teachers. He expressed congratulations on the achievements the Overseas Education College and the International College have reached since their establishment. He said he admired the contributions the International College has made in field of Sino-foreign cultural exchange and international education. He was hoping to enhance communication and cooperation with our college so that we can learn from each other and promote common development.
