On the afternoon of 22 March, Sam, the admission officerof the University of South Wales (USW) gave a Pre-departure Briefing to the junior students of HND programme at Room B309 of Kunluan Building, answering questions from the students who have applied for or are interested in USW.

What preparations should I make before going abroad? What can I take or can I not take with me? What must I take? How do I take the physical examination? How is the accommodation at USW? How do I arrange for airport pick-up? In answering to the various worries and concerns of the students, Sam had collected records from previous students’ WeChat posts and sorted out a complete and practical pre-departure guidance, which would be very helpful for today’s audience.

USW was merged from University of Wales, Newport and University of Glamorgan. It has approximately 33,500 students. The sixth largest university of the UK, its campuses spread over Cardiff and Newport.
