On Dec. 1, Mr. Andrei Tabirca, school official from University of Alberta visited the International College and discussed 2+2 partnership of Bachelor courses. The purpose of his visit was to promote agreements and course mapping in majors of Art, Language, Psychology and Economics, and confirm details in entry requirement and language proficiency. Professor Zheng Tongtao, Dean of the International College and Madam Huang Guanghua, Deputy Dean met the guest in the conference room of Kunluan Building.

The University of Alberta (also known as U of A and UAlberta) is a public research university located in Edmonton, Canada. Founded in 1908, the University is one member of Group of Thirteen (G-13) and has been recognized as one of the top five universities in research ability in Canada. According to the 2015-2016 QS World University Rankings, University of Alberta ranked the 96th in the world, with the top Faculty Area in Arts and Humanities and the top-ranked Subject in English Language and Literature (22nd in the world).

The Faculty of Humanities had been in close contact with the International College since last year, looking forward to building partnership in English Language, Film, History, Arts and Economics. Mr. Andrei Tabirca stated that University of Alberta valued the collaboration between two universities and would like to deepen the relationship through events of summer camps and teacher exchange.
