On Sept. 28th morning, Sarah Travis, Director Internationalisation at University of Southampton – Faculty of Business, Law & Art visited International College. The dean of the college, Prof. Zheng Tongtao and the associate dean Huang Guanhua met the guest in Xiang’an Campus. The leaders of the art-teaching group and the English-teaching group as well as the program manager were present at the meeting.

Prof. Zheng said: “Since the year of 2008, the art program has delivered nearly one hundred students to Winchester School of Art of the SouthamptonUniversity; meanwhile, the new-opened “1+3” bachelor-degree program is very promising.” He hoped that the “2+2” program in business could be further promoted.

Ms. Sarah Travis appreciated for the warm reception. She said that the cooperation between the two institutes in the past time was satisfying and would continue in the future. The University  of Southampton expected to carry out the program in the next year.

In the afternoon, Ms. Sarah Travis had an informal discussion with students from the “2+2” art program and the “1+3” bachelor-degree program. She briefly introduced the University  of Southampton and specifically answer the questions concerning with application, scholarship and campus environment.
