Recently, it's informed by the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange that two undergraduate education projects, which are accounting and finance provided jointly by Xiamen University and Dublin Business School have passed the evaluation. The International College of Xiamen University conducts the two projects. It’s the first Chinese-foreign Cooperative Education project, which is listed in state recruiting plan in our university. It ‘s also the only two Chinese-foreign Cooperative Education projects in undergraduate level in our university.

The education evaluation process includesself-assessment report, student satisfaction survey, social reputation survey, experts’ comments, and the result feedback and corrective actions. Evaluation results are divided into qualified, qualified with conditions and unqualified. The evaluating results and relevant information will be the important references for future regulation or approval of Chinese-foreign Cooperative Education projects

The Ministry of Education approved undergraduate project of accounting and finance provided by Xiamen University and Ireland Dublin Business Schoolin July 2010 formally. The projects started from 2011. The project matches with bachelor's degree course system of Dublin Business School. Both parties establish teaching plan, teaching mode, and curriculum jointly. Dublin Business School sent foreign teachers to the International College of Xiamen University regularly. The International College employs qualified lecturers who have overseas education background to support these projects.

So far, there are four sessions including 576 students for this project. The first batch of senior student has been to Dublin Business School to study abroad. The implementation of the project cultivates a batch of standards with international vision, familiar with the management of talent, and expands the breadth and depth of our university international exchanges and cooperation.
