The teacher of International College Robin was invited by Xiamen Library to give an English lecture named “Travel Around The World with Robin ” to the citizens. More than 200 citizens attended the lecture. The whole speech was full of frequent flashes of humor and the enthusiasm of the audiences ran high.

In the lecture, Robin mainly talked about his thoughts on study and life, and he also shared his travel experience with the audiences who listened carefully and burst into spontaneous applause time and time again. During the interactive session, the audiences raised their hands to ask questions and Robin walked to them to have zero-distance communication.

As a native British， Robin speaks pure English. He decided to postpone university courses after graduating from high school and use one year to do what he wants to do. He went to France alone, worked while looking for the house, learning French and ski in Alps. After that, he entered the University of Sheffield--the famous “red brick university” and started his university life. When he graduated from the university, he then traveled around the world-- from Venezuela to Spain, from Taiwan to South Korea, and finally to China. His journey had covered half of the earth and encountered a variety of interesting people. In addition, he mastered various language,such as French, Spanish, Korean etc.

Robin worked as a teacher in International College of Xiamen University in 2011. He is the only one foreign teacher who won the prize of “Ten of my favorite teachers”.All the students were deeply attracted by Robin’s broad vision, logic thoughts and interesting words.

One of the audiences believed that Robin is a teacher full of personality charm and they not only knew him but also had a better understanding of the unique international education pattern of International College. Some of the audiences even made a reservation to join the Open Day and hoped to experience the real education environment of International College.
