On March 4, Dr. Martin Dyke (former Deputy Dean of the Education College of University of Southampton) visited our college. Professor Zheng Tongtao (Dean of Overseas Education College and The International College), Huang Guanhua (Office Director) and Chen Jianru (Project Secretary) welcomed and met him in the conference room of Overseas Education College of Xiamen Univeristy.

The main purpose of this visit was to discuss the contract renewal of education master program. This program has been successfully operated for 5 years and is highly appreciated by the students and their parents. 42 students from this program have gone to the Education College of University of Southampton for master degree and 29 of them have smoothly finished studies and started working in domestic and foreign enterprises and education institutions.

Professor Zheng Tongtao granted Dr. Martin Dyke the letter of appointment as the visiting professor of The International College. Better communication and teaching resource sharing are hoped to be achieved through this cooperation.
