Recently, the academic affairs office and student affairs office respectively published the winners list of the third annual meeting of undergraduate innovation and entrepreneurship of Xiamen University. All of the three projects submitted by our college won prizes, and the number of awards reached a record high. The grand innovation project Qichen inheritance nonprofit education foundation led by Year 4 student Lan Zijun, and directed by associate professor Gao Qinghui was awarded as the outstanding grand innovation project and the best grand innovation project. The best grand innovation project only has 10 places in the whole university. Year 2 student Wang Xiyue and another 3 students won the champion in the 7th Jincheng Cup - 2018 national college students future CEO competition. Year 4 student Zhang Huichen won the runner-up on the global finals of Huawei sales elite competition. The second and the third projects are also awarded excellent projects of 2018 undergraduate academic competition and dezhen social classroom fund undergraduate academic competition award.

“Qichen inheritance nonprofit education foundation” is a public welfare foundation established to solve the increasingly serious problem of the gap between the rich and the poor in the field of education in China, and to help college students to strive for independence and pursue their dreams. With the mission of fulfilling students' dreams, creating future elites, and providing every college student with equal opportunities, the project innovatively integrates the ICL model (return in proportion to income model) into the traditional public welfare industry of education. In the first round, 20 million Chinese Yuan of public welfare funds were raised. By the middle of 2018, the amount of public welfare funds has reached 4 million yuan, and nearly 150 people have been funded. The project previously won the gold award of the 4th Internet + college student innovation and entrepreneurship competition of Xiamen University and the bronze award of the 2018 innovation youth college student entrepreneurship competition of Fujian province.

7th Jincheng cup - 2018 national college students future CEO competition was sponsored by financial services committee of China market society. It took 2 months from the preliminary round to the final, with 463 teams from all over the country and more than 3,000 participants. On the national final that holds on December 8, the team Red Forest, composed of three students from our college Wang Xiyue, Dong Wenjun, Zhang Xu overcame all the difficulties and gain the championship in the national finals, and they also won the network popularity award.
The 2018 Huawei sales elite challenge competition covers more than 500 colleges and universities around the world. It lasts for nearly 90 days, and nearly 10,000 players participated in the competition. Through auditions, regional rematches and regional finals, 50 elites are selected to form 10 teams to enter the global finals. In the global final, Zhang Huichen, a year 4 undergraduate student, adjusted her sales and service strategies in a timely manner in the parts of bidding negotiation and store marketing practice, and won the overall runner-up in the global final.

In recent years, under the guidance of the university's continuous deepening of innovation and entrepreneurship education reform, the college leaders attach great importance to the work of innovation and organize teachers and students to actively participate in innovation competitions. The number of innovation projects has significantly increased, which result in more and more students win awards in various competitions. In the teaching evaluation of 2018, the International College was rated as having made remarkable progress. The expert group commented that students' innovation and entrepreneurship have made achievements from scratch. The excellent results obtained in the 3rd Annual Conference of Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Undergraduates of Xiamen University, are a reaffirmation of our college's efforts to promote innovation and entrepreneurship.
