On the afternoon of October 12th, WANG Yi, Secretary of the Party Committee of International College, deputy dean Guanhua Huang, and Deputy Director of the Office DAI Yu, were invited to attend the closing ceremony of the 2018 International Cultural Festival of Xiamen Haicang Experimental Middle School. Under the witness of all the teachers, students and parents, the official cooperation agreement was signed, which laid the foundation for the future cooperation and development.

Xiamen Haicang Experimental School, founded in 1993, was the first-class school in Fujian Province, and the first batch of international high school education pilot schools in Xiamen. The school actively run the schools, continuously expands the opening up of education, strengthens educational exchanges between home and abroad, and promotes the internationalization of education. This time, the school officially signed a contract with our college, which marked the establishment of a friendly cooperation mechanism between the two sides, to build a better platform for selecting, bringing and co-cultivating outstanding students, as well as open up a broader path for the students to grow.

In the future, the two sides will jointly carry out a series of co-construction exchange activities with rich and varied content, exert the advantages of the academy and talents of the college, and establish an educational bridge for students from high school to university. For example, the college student associations will organize the student union activities of the Youth League Committee, the Chinese-English Partner communication corner, volunteers and other activities, and jointly hold short-term courses such as summer camps or winter camps themed foreign language or Chinese international cultural, study abroad experience sharing, and academic planning guidance lectures. In this way we can create conditions to better serve students and strengthen in-depth cooperation between the two universities.

After the signing ceremony, accompanied by the leaders of Xiamen Haicang Experimental Middle School, our college leaders watched the performance of the closing ceremony of the International Cultural Festival. The accompanying students from our college enthusiastically participated in the “Mini World Expo” activity of the International Cultural Festival and interacted with the students of Haicang Experimental School.
