On April 21, the academic director from Shizuoka Sangyo University, Prof. LihuaKe from the Information Science department of the School of Information, assistant of entrance exam Bangyan Lin visited the International College and held an entry exam for the student who signed up to the China-Japan Undergraduates Study Abroad Program, they also met the program students of Grade 2015 and had discussions with them.

The exam consists of two parts: written test and oral interview, 120minites for the written test in the morning and about 15minites for the interview in the afternoon. All the interviewers were quite satisfied with the students of our college, they were deeply impressed by the students’ proficiency of Japanese and interview etiquette.

After the exam, the three teachers held a simple meeting with the new program students of Grade 2015. In the meeting, the students made brief introductions about themselves in Japanese and the teachers introduced the Japan and Shizuoka Sangyo University to the students, they also encouraged these students to study harder in the International College so that they can lay the foundation for their future education in Japan. In the question-and-answer session, the students raised some questions about the economic situation in Japan, accommodation for the overseas students, transport and scholarship application, the teachers answered all the questions patiently.

During the exam day, the delegation also met the dean of the Overseas Education College/ the International College Prof. TongtaoZheng, Prof. Tongtao Zheng showed the delegation around the college. The delegation expressed their appreciation of running principles, international cooperation, students and teachers training and academic research of the International College, and hope the two sides can keep interactions and enhance cooperation.
