[Study Plan] A Studying Abroad Presentation of University of Missouri, Kansas City
In the afternoon on April 12, studying abroad presentation of University of Missouri-Kansas City was held in B404 and attracted a lot of students.
During the presentation, the deputy dean of University of Missouri-Kansas City Dr. Kami firstly introduced the cooperation with our college. She said:” From this year on, the students of the International College can go to UMKC to study.” The juniors of our college can apply for studying in UMKC and the credits can be transferred in America so that they can get Bachelor’s Degree in one year in America.

Then Dr. Kami gave a detailed introduction about the campus life in UMKC. UMKIC was founded in 1929 and joined the university system of the State of Missouri. This university system consists of four universities: University of Missouri Columbia, University of Missouri Rolla, University of Missouri St. Louis and UMKC.
At present, UMKC is the biggest public university in the State of Missouri. There are 13 colleges, 125 majors and 16,700 students from 50 states in America and 86 countries. The School of Business is one of the most popular in UMKC and has 60 world-class full-time teachers in BBA, BSA, MBA, MSA and MPA courses. The passing rate of CPA ranks 5th, nonprofit management is among the top 15. Besides, UMKC provides 10million dollars scholarship and abundant internship opportunities for the students.
At the end of the presentation, Dr. Kami answered the questions raised by students about campus life, accommodations, campus facilities and tuition.
