TheSociety Set up by our Students Won the “Above and Beyond Award for International Life and Culture”in Ireland
On 1 April 2016, at the Formal Ball and After Party held at Dublin Business School of Ireland,the “Chinese Society” set up by our students Wu Yi and GuoShujin from Dublin Programme won the “Above and Beyond Award for International Life and Culture”

Aiming at catering for Chinese overseas students and showing the charms of Chinese culture, the society launched various activities. On the opening day, it attracted 44 international members and was praisedas “the best society on the opening day”for its highest numberof enrollment.
In the two terms in Dublin Business School, Wu Yi and GuoShujin held such classes as Chinese speaking, Chinese calligraphy, paper-cutting and Chinese character writing regularly, which effectively enriched the society’s activities. Especially worthmentioning were the activities held around Chinese New Yearand the “Moon-cake Gambling” during the Mid-autumn Festival.

After the voting of all the students and teachers from Dublin Business School, the Chinese Society won three nominations including “Society of the Year”, “Society Activity of the Year”,and“Most Participated Society of the Year”and finally won the“Above and Beyond Award for International Life and Culture”.
