On the morning of Dec21, Sun Pingyao, the recruitment officer of Teesside University delivered an intriguing speech to our students.

Ms Sun gave a detailed introduction about Teesside University. She said Teesside University is one of the first public UK universities recognized by the Chinese Ministry of Education.  With its main campus in Middlesbrough, Teesside University is a modern university that attracts many students with its low living expenses and beautiful environment. The university has over 29,000 students and 1,500 international students from over 100 countries. Yet the Chinese students are not more than 300, which provides a good home international student ratio.

Teesside University enjoys modern buildings and user friendly facilities, which combine traditional style and state-of-the art technology. As student accommodation, library and teaching buildings are within walking distance, the university is an ideal place to study. The university is renowned for its good quality teaching and internationally recognized qualifications as well as their full support to students including free internet access, free airport pick-up service and free English language tutorials and summer intensive training language courses.

After the talk, many students inquired about the university. It is reported that students know better about Teesside University and have a clearer planning for their future study.
