On Dec 16, Zhou Yan, the student recruitment officer of De Montfort University came to the college to hold an internal language assessment on our students. The internal language assessment is conducted in both written and spoken forms. 31 students sat the exam.

The internal language assessment is designed by oversea universities themselves, which might be less difficult or have fewer questions than IELTS or TOEFL. Students may apply for internal language assessment if they are unable to provide in time the language scores as required. De Montfort University arranged for this internal assessment with reference to the good lasting partnership with our college. Students may apply to admission into De Montfort University if they pass the internal assessment.

Candidates took written test in Room A405 in the morning and oral test by video conferencing in Room B209 in the afternoon. Zhou Yan said the candidates took the internal assessment seriously and were well prepared. She was satisfied with the exam procedure and candidates’ overall performance.

DMU’s Business School is one of the largest providers of business and management education in the UK, and is also a member of Association of Business Schools. The university’s Department of Accounting is recognized as ACCA Premier Status centre.
