At 7:00 in the evening of November 4, the International College successfully held "Chinese Corner"in B202 of the Second Teaching Building. Students from all over the world gathered together. In joy and laughter, participants paired to create an opportunity for overseas students to train spoken Chinese.

The event was divided into five sessions. In the first session, international students made a brief self-introduction and then recited Tang Poems. In this session, after a five-minute preparation, oversea students recited the poem on the note which was randomly distributed. In the five minutes, the Chinese students actively served as teachers who carefully explained the pronunciation of each word. After their wonderful recitation, the international students gained a small award.

In the next session, "Pick UpPing-pongCompetition", the international students’ability to use chopsticks have been fully tested. During the Game, players will usechopsticks to transfer Ping-pongs from a plate to another plate. Who firstfinishes the work wins. Many oversea students were able to successfully pick up those table tennis, which triggered applause and cheers.

Next, participants attended a screenplay show links. Partners performed the short dialoguesof scripts which were randomly selected. The performances are very interesting.

In the fourth session, two female students sang the song"one is like fall while one is like  summer" .

The last session is the interesting, "You Act, I Guess". The oversea students made  gestures for Chinese language partners to guess. Some teams worked out many words through precise presentations and tacit cooperation. Ultimately, the winner of the contest wasawarded.

Chinese and foreign students to this event in the entertainment realized intercultural exchange and learning, the exchange was a valuable learning experience. We hope a lot of activities organized by language partners such activities to promote interaction between Chinese and foreign students.
