Freshman registration work of 2014 started on 23^rd August, which lasted two days. It is said that nearly 500 freshmen registered in our college this year. Dean of International College Professor Zhen Tongtao, Secretary of the Party General branch Chen Zhiwei,Director of the Office Huang Guanhuang, Assistant Director Daiyu, Secretary of the Communist Youth League Liu Wanyu guided the work.

In order to facilitate registration, all the students could register under the dormitory directly when they came to the campus. They could also receive campus card, student ID card, admission materials and check into dormitory at the registration place, and the“one-stop” registration process did offer great convenience to the students. Meanwhile, the college set up two tents as the rest area for the parents and provided drinking water for them. Furthermore, all the students and their parents could also receive the free meal tickets that were printed by the college.

“ It is very convenient and we finished the registration process just in a few minutes. Now we are going to clean the dormitory”, one of the parents from Heilongjiang province said. She also mentioned that she received the message before coming to the college which reminded her to go to the registration place directly. And all the detailed information can be found in WeChat. By the end of 23rd August, most of the freshmen finished the registration. Generally speaking, the whole registration process ran smoothly.
