Cecilia Langemar, dean of Fashion Design Department and Derek Yates, dean of Graphic Design Department of Winchester School of Art of University of Southampton (UOS) came to our college to interview our students in Bachelor of Art Design program on April 23.

Each student well prepared their own works to show their great talent and strong capability. During the interview, students should illustrate their works from the following aspects, such as the subject, producing process, draft, semi-finished articles, materials, cutting details, and so on.

After the interview, the students’ works obtained higher remarks of the two deans. Derek pointed out that they not only focused on the advantages or disadvantages of students’ works, but also took many factors into consideration, like the students’ capabilities, personality, passion for art and talent.

At last, the two deans had a meeting with the freshmen and sophomore of the program. Cecilia introduced the curriculum, faculty, teaching facilities and other information about Winchester School of Art of UOS, and replied the students’ questions like language requirement, scholarship, etc.
