On April 25th, the International Culture Festival of Xiamen University opened on Xiang’an campus. The festival was held by Management Committee of Xiang’an Campus and Office of International Cooperation and Exchange of Xiamen University (XMU). Eight colleges, including Overseas Education College, the International College and Medical College organized this festival. In addition, it obtained a lot of support from Xiang’an Cultural Palace. Many university leaders, college leaders and more than 500 students attended this festival.

The aim of the International Culture Festival of XMU was to make the university cultures more colorful by integrating cultures with interest and exchanging cultures. On this opportunity, Chinese students and foreign students could communicate with each other and learn different cultures deeply. Meanwhile it played an important role in promoting the internationalized reputation and social influence of XMU.

The festival included a large number of activities, such as sprinkling water, dancing, tasting unique food of foreign countries and so on. Especially on the splendid evening party, our Chinese and foreign students showed their great talents. The charming music, the colorful light and the cheerful voice were blended together. What a wonderful festival!

Many foreign students thought that they learned the diverse cultures and tasted delicious exotic food on this festival. In the future, they will work hard and continue to learn more Chinese culture in XMU.
