In order to promote the school fire safety work, enhance the students' knowledge of fire safetyand safeguard the school environment, in the afternoon of December 19th, The Overseas Education College (OEC) / The International College (IC) invited the Xiang’anFire squadron captain Hu Jian to carry out fire safety training for our students in Room A107, Main Building NO.1.

Captain Hu showed the students how to call 119 and properly use the fire extinguishers. Besides, he also analyzed the causes and consequences of fires and elaborated fire prevention and ways of escaping from fire. Subsequently, Captain Hu involved students into operating fire extinguishers.

Activities like this have greatly improved the self-rescue capabilities of teachers and students and further enhanced their safety awareness, which is essential to the fire safety work for the new campus.
