Recently, International College student from 2011 Sino-Japanese program Xu linyang obtained excellent results in the exam organized by Shizuoka Sangyo University, and gaineda tuition waiverof 400,000 yen per year fromShizuoka Sangyo University, a total of 800,000 yen scholarship for two years.

Since from entering the school, Xu has been the monitor of2011 Sino-Japanese Program class, he exercises self-discipline and is very diligent, getting good evaluation from both teachers and students. Teachers of Sino-Japanese programexpect him to get familiar with the local cultural environmentas soon as possibleafterhe enters Shizuoka Sangyo University, and to further improve his language skills, strengthen study and research ability, broaden his horizons and become a compound talentwith a global vision.

It is reported that since the cooperative program between International College and Shizuoka Sangyo University started, students of7 academic years have been enrolled. Each year, Shizuoka Sangyo University selects outstanding students by test scores, to provide tuition relief incentives. To date there have been Gao Jiewei of year 2007, Wan Lvyuan of year 2008, Wang Jian of year 2010, and Xu Linyang of this year who received 800,000 yen scholarship from Shizuoka Sangyo University. In addition, our students can also apply for scholarships for international students set by Japanese government. Chen Hong of year 2007 and Hu Yuxuan of year 2008 have received the incentive fee of 576,000 yen from Japan Student Services Organization for foreign students to learn at their own expense.

After two years of training and basic Japanese language courses, students from Sino-Japanese program ofthe International College of Xiamen University lay a solid foundation for their future study in Japanese universities.
