Visited International College, XMU

On the morning of November 15th, Qiu Ye, Manager of East Asia, and Guo Xiao, Manager of China of Lincoln University, visited International College(IC), Xiamen University (XMU). Tao Tao, Dean of International College, Chen Xiangliu, Deputy Dean of International College, and relevant staff received the guests and participated in the discussion.

Dean Tao extended a warm welcome to the representatives of University of Lincoln, and briefly introduced the history and development of the Sino-foreign cooperative education program and the independent study abroad program of International College. He noted that since its establishment, IC has continuously deepened exchanges and cooperation with high-level universities in the UK, continued to expand the field of cooperation, and has cultivated more than 6,600 international compound talents, and the scale of running the school and the quality of student training have improved year by year, and ranked in the forefront of similar universities in China, which has been fully affirmed by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange of the Ministry of Education, China.

Qiu Ye introduced the history of Lincoln University, the setting of majors, school-enterprise cooperation and cooperation with domestic colleges and universities, elaborated on the talent training mode of the university in tourism management, business management, accounting and finance and other majors, and emphasized that Lincoln University attaches great importance to the practicality and application of teaching, encourages students to conduct inquiry-based learning, and graduates have a good employment situation. He further expressed his hope to cooperate with IC in business and art design. 

The two sides agreed that they will continue to maintain continuous communication on the program cooperation model and computer professional development, and work together to promote in-depth exchanges and cooperation on the program.
