On the morning of April 18^th, Ms. Guan Jiaxi, a delegate of Birmingham City University in the UK, visited International College(IC), Xiamen University(XMU). Tao Tao, Dean of IC received the guest and attended the discussion.

Dean Tao Tao extended a warm welcome to the delegate from Birmingham City University. He noted that International College, Xiamen University and Birmingham City University have a long-standing history of cooperation and extensive, in-depth exchanges. He expressed his expectation that, under the guidance of the China Service Center for Scholarly Exchange(CSCSE), the two sides will continue to collaborate in fields such as jewelry design, art design, and business accounting. He also welcomed the university leaders of the Birmingham City University to visit Xiamen University at an appropriate time.

Ms. Guan Jiaxi introduced the history and key disciplines of Birmingham City University. She hoped that through this visit, Xiamen University could gain a better understanding of Birmingham City University and faciliate the implementation of the cooperation programs between the two sides.

Finally, both sides had an in-depth exchange and discussion on aspects such as curriculum alignment, language requirements, and program settings of the cooperation programs.
