On August 28, the undergraduate freshmen military training kicked off in Shangxuan Stadium. Deputy Party Secretary and group leader of student military training work Lin Dongwei ,military training work leading group members, leaders of relevant colleges and departments, all the drillmasters and freshmen attended the mobilization meeting.

On the meeting , President Zhu Chongshi said, as an excellent student of Xiamen University, he/she not only should perform well on study and academic, but also should have good character and sound personality. He also mentioned military training is the first lesson of university life, hoping all the students to humbly learn from the drillmasters who have excellent qualities, fear neither hardship nor fatigue, cultivate great perseverance and go beyond self.

Deputy Party Secretary Lin Dongwei on behalf of Xiamen University to gave warm welcome to the drillmasters and instructors. He said, the troop undertakes the military training has glorious revolutionary traditions and established brilliant achievements in war, hoping the freshmen cherish the opportunity, work hard, develop excellent military qualities, strengthen political literacy and psychological qualities. Finally, he wished the military training successfully concluded.

At the end, the mobilization meeting ended with Military Anthem of the Chinese People’s  Liberation Army.
