On the morning of September 11^th , Mr. Qi Zheng, China Director of Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) in the UK, visited International College(IC), Xiamen Universtiy (XMU). Yu Hongbo, Dean of IC, along with relevant staff members, received the guest and participated in a discussion and exchange session.

Yu Hongbo, Dean of IC extended a warm welcome to the delegate from Arts University Bournemouth（AUB） and provided a brief overview of the IC’s educational history and development. She emphasized that since its establishment, IC has continuously deepened exchanges and collaborations with the leading international institutions while expanding cooperative fields. She hoped that both sides would further strengthen their cooperation to advance the steady development of the program.

Qi Zheng provided a detailed introduction to the history of Arts University Bournemouth, its disciplinary strengths, and its experience in conducting cooperation programs with Chinese institutions. He expressed his hope that this visit would further promote the in-depth development of the cooperation program between both sides.

Finally, both sides had a thorough exchange and discussion on aspects such as program cooperation and teacher training. Both sides agreed that on the basis of the 2+2 cooperation program in art design and fashion management, they would continue to cooperate in creative and art design and other majors of the Scottish Qualifications Authority(SQA) Advanced Diploma programme and jointly promote the high-quality development of the programs.
